IMPORTANT NOTICE

On April 10, 2025, the Government of Brazil (GOB) will reinstate a visa requirement for all U.S. nationals visiting Brazil. A tourist e-visa will be available for qualified applicants. Apply here: https://brazil.vfsevisa.com/

Passport Validity

Must be signed and valid through your stay in Brazil. Requires at least two blank visa pages
Your passport must be valid at least 1 month before arrival
You can enter Brazil at any time within the validity period of the eVisa, starting from the date it
is issued.
Please note that consular posts may take up to 10 business days to process the application
once it has been completed, verified for accuracy, and submitted to the respective consular
post for their analysis

Visa type

Visiting family, recreation, or sightseeing
(eVisa allowed, max stay: 90 days)
Business:
Attending meetings, trade fairs, consulting, etc.
(Paid work not allowed under eVisa)
Holders of diplomatic or special passports also require visas if their travel falls under the
purposes above.

To ensure a safe, enjoyable, and inclusive experience for all, please review and follow these general guidelines:

Wristbands

Guests will receive a wristband during the check-in process at Lifestyle Laghetto Collection Hotel

Weather

Rio during December and January is the summer season. Expect sunshine during the day and light showers in the evening. Pack light clothing, swimwear, sunscreen, and a rain jacket or umbrella.

Airport

Rio de Janeiro–Galeão International Airport (GIG). Also known as Antonio Carlos Jobim International Airport

Transportation

Bus transportation will be provided to/from and during the event. Please look out for a confirmation text with details one day prior to your arrival.

Alcohol

Alcohol is not included in the package and is sold separately

Health & Safety

There will be a designated first-aid station on-site with trained medical personnel

Security

Security will be provided during all events

Code of Conduct

AmaZoul is an inclusive and diverse space. Discrimination, harassment, or aggressive behavior will not be tolerated. No Unauthorized Vending: Vendors must be pre-approved. Unauthorized selling of goods is prohibited.

Festival Services

A variety of food and drink vendors will be available for purchase. Please contact a staff member for more details.

Merchandise

Official AmaZoul merchandise will be sold on-site.

Lost & Found

Please return any lost and found items to a staff member. Any unclaimed items will be donated after
the event.

Photography & Media

Professional camera equipment is not allowed unless pre-approved. Personal cameras and smartphones are welcome.

Photo & Video Rights

By attending, you consent to being photographed or filmed for Amazoul promotional purposes.

Emergency Procedures

In the event of an emergency, follow the instructions of security and Amazoul staff. Locate the emergency exits upon arrival and be aware of the nearest first-aid station.

Situational Awareness

While both hosts and security will be provided it’s imperative that each guests take responsibility for their own general safety & security. Do not wonder alone, especially at night near the beach. Keep your cell phone tucked and hidden, out of sight at all times. We encourage the buddy system anytime you are doing activities that are separate from the group.

All communication will be through our WhatsApp group, please download WhatsApp so you can stay infórmed with any changes

Cultural Appreciation

Rio de Janeiro and Brazil is rich in culture and history. We encourage all attendees to respect local customs and traditions.

Activities

Activities such as visiting Christ the redeemer statue, trolley ride to Parque Bondhino, yoga/samba to be scheduled one day in advance. Please reach out to a staff member to schedule your activity
